   Dear 4th graders,

  This is one of the 5th graders last year. Your 5th grade year will probably be really fun.You can participate in class activities like class plays or games like ”Queen Anne” or ”Pedals Around The Rose”. My favorite part of the year is when we make the movies like wayside school or our end of the year movie for you guys. So this is some things you might need to know next year.

As I’m writing this blog in the computer lab many other kid are writing the blog in the computer lab for their last blogs. With only 9 more days of school I am going to write what 5th grade is like.          

With every week on Tuesday you will have to take a map test that is very stressful because you have to memorise all of the continents, Seas, and countrys for the first two quarters. On the third and fourth quarters you have to do all the states, capitals, and abbreviations for the whole United states.

The most important thing about fifth grade that I’m writing about is NEVER sit there when you see someone being bullied. If your being bullied too don’t sit there or thell keep on doing it for the rest of the year, and the thing I saw the most this year is swearing and there’s not much you can do about it.

Hi new Mr Millers class.I know he’s bald but I think he had hair.He could be mean when your not listening.but the good thing is he lets us get away with stuff.When your good he lets you go out to recess early.We also do somthing called movie maker.We can make movies with it.I liked the 5th grade BBQ and the play.We read books like Island of the blue dolphine.You will do sex ed and aids close to the end of the year.I had a great year.you are going to too.you are going to make new freinds like me.

5th grade was a great year for me. i’m glad i ended up in Mr.Millers class this whole year was fun and i cant wait to find out what i will do in sixth grade. this year went by very fast and i’m sasd it s going to be over soon i wil miss all the peole that arent going to the same school as me. im hoping my little brother will get Mr.Miller so he can see how much fun he is. my favorite part of fifth grade was being able to make all the movie’s we made. i’m also happy that i have my sister to go to middlpe school with she is  going to be in 8th grade nexted year well the good part about that is that i dont have to spend  all of middle shool with her. i’m not happy to go but i’m not mad to go to middle school. there were so many fun thing i can’t count them all. if your going to be in Mr.Miller’s class you are lucky! you will do a lot of fun things but just because you will be doing fun things dosen’t mean you dont have to work you shouls always do your homework because i learned thats a big part  of your grade and you sould also study for the map test those are most of you social graade. thats about it.

These last days being a 5th grader May 12, 2008

I had alot of fun at walker, but fifth grade has been the best.I’m sad i’m leaving,but at the same time i’m excited to go to middle school,i hope.To the fourth graders becoming fifth graders try to stay on Mr.Miller’s good side.Your recess depends on it.As you probably already know he’s bald,so over the summer think of some bald jokes.You guys are going to have alot of fun in fifth grade.You get to have alot of fun with computers.Slideshows,recordings,movies and alot of other fun stuff.As a fifth grader you get to do so much things that others can’t.Like the tunnel,the BBQ,hopefully you’ll get to do tiles.Well i’ve said everything i have to say.Have a great summer.BYE!!!

We have tow weeks last of school, To day kids from La Cima are coming to talk to us.On Friday we are going to La Cima. There are lots of things u do in the 5th grade, If you get Mr.Miller you play tow games they are called petals around the rose, and Queen anne, they are very tricky to get but after you get it it will seem so esey to you.The math gets harder and you do allot more of it.You have a class play its trod the end of the year.you have to do allot more takes if you understand them there more esyer and funner. If you get Mr.Miller you do allot of computer things like broadcast,and stock.In Fifih grade you have to stand storng for the little kids.Theres so much you do in the Fifth grade its so hard to keep track of it all.every thing gets a little harder but every body gets throw it all. All next year  5th graders will have fun.

 I am one of the last year fifth graders.I had a friend in Mr.Moores class her name is Mirannda,and if she is in Mr.Millers class I say hello!To the new fifth graders I would like to give you some advise,there will be two games you’ll all be playing.The first one is called Queen Ann thepoint of the game is to find doubles,but only certain kinds of doubles.The second game is called Peddles Around The Rose the point of this game is to find the Peddles (AROUND) The Rose.And if you all think that fifth grade will be hard well its not always hard,plus if your in the same class as you’r friends it can be fun but if your not then you’ll make new friends like I did.The thing about fifth grade is that if you like a boy in you’r class you can’t tell them you like them because they’ll tell everyone,because their big stupid dudu heads.

My last full week of school May 12, 2008

Well this is my last full week of school i hope. it’s bean fun here at this school. it’s bean fun having a bold teacher i hope next years class will have as much fun as we did with all the computer stuff we did. Oh and make sure you guys make a lot of bold jokes make him cry. I think you guys will have a lot of fun with the stock market especialy when we get to make the graphs. i hope you guys start a new blog next year it’s fun making coments and posting the blog. I hope you makes a lot of podcast and yous moviemaker well i hope you enjoy next year

The end of school is finaly here and im ready for summer hot days,simming,waterpaks. But no more seeing friends unless you have numbers to visit each other. Summer is the best time of the year. Im exited to go to middle school that means lockers,lots of classes,more people. Im going to see my friend luke he’s going to 8 next year so i can see him for a year. All my friend are going to the same school as me so i guess im not the only new kid. im going to injoy 6th grade my grades are good right now so im feeling great. Im am looking tords a good year my friend luke will help me with 6th grade so im set for middle school. middle school here i come. I have a feeling that this is a good year in middle school. What could be better than my friends, lockers,more classes. Luke

The end is coming and you know what i mean the end of school. we did alot of fun stuff though the year with Mr.Miller. We did the black history month slide show ,the important slide show ,and other slide shows. We also did the fifth grade musical it was the cool-yest it was about the revaluationn. The best field trip that we have gone to so fare is the symphony. We are going to walk to La Cima and have a tour of the school. Atlast we get to walk through the tunle and turn into 6th graders. Some of the the kids at La Cima are going to come down here and talk to us about how La Cima is. Oh yea we also did the tiles, Mr.Miller said we might be the last ones to do the tiles. My favorit thing we did in our class is the impotant papers.

Welcome to Mr. Miller’s fifth grade class! Yes I know he is bald, but you have to live with it(ha ha ha). He is really nice if you be nice and listen and do what he tells you to. He made this blog so our parents could know what we’ve been doing all day. Fifth grade will be fun if you cooperate with your peers and your teacher. You will go through some rough times, and some easy times. I asure you if your class cooperates, he might extend your recess! You guys will start 15 minutes earlier than last year. Don’t forget this. On the map test, don’t get pennsylvania, or philidelphia, or the abriviation wrong. Mr. Miller was born there, and he won’t be happy if you get it wrong.

heya guys well it is the end of the school for us fifth graders and i am wondering how 6th grade is like so maybe 3 or 4 6th graders but anyways in fifth grade you get to do fun stuff like queen ann and stock market and all other fun stuff so yeah and the really fun stuff id that you get to do the tunnel and the bbq and yeah you will learn more and stuff so have fun!!!!!!!!!

We started the day by going to library and the bookmans reading challenge is over. After library we did the math test. it was pretty hard. We went to recess. After recess we did the TFK of the Olympic Trials. We did a summary about the Island of the Blue Dolphins. It’s a pretty good book. Some of us are still working on our stock market graphs and others on the important paper.

Today we started off with the usual subject MATH yup math the one that you add up numbers to get other numbers .Today in math we learned about the diameter of a circle, a radius of a circle, and the circumference of a circle. After all that math we moved on to a new book that we’re reading. It’s called  Island Of The Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell  its about this girl named Karana. An Indian girl who lived alone for years in the island  well we don’t want to tell you the whole story because  you need to read it to find out. After that we took a test called the Map test in the computer lab is was one of the most important tests of the year it determins what math class we get in next year in middle school.

Then it was lunch time  after lunch the boys went to the M.P.R to learn about the C.D.O boys basksetball team and the girls went over to Mrs.Wrights room to watch a movie. thats all we did today bye.

It’s the weekend April 25, 2008

We just finished the book Punished and it was funny and cool. I liked the part where he gets the spell thing. We are going to the Tucson symphony on Wednesday the 30th. The sex ed and AIDS/HIV classes are coming up .  We are about to take the map test this Tues. and then go to art.We are going to walk to La Cima school and we are going to do  the tunnel and that’s all we have for today.
